PURPOSE:
The Broadband Commercial Account Specialist is responsible for driving commercial sales growth and maintaining long-term customer relationships. This role requires a proactive approach to acquiring new commercial clients while also focusing on retaining existing customers by ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial sector.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs.
  • Initiate contact with prospective clients through networking, cold calling, and other resources.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Oversee enterprise level customer relations and contracts.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for commercial clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
  • Proactively engage with existing customers to understand their evolving needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Analyze customer feedback and work with internal teams to improve service offerings.
  • Collaborate with management to develop business growth strategies and sales plans.
  • Develop and execute retention strategies to reduce churn and increase customer loyalty.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is preferred, along with 2-5 years of experience in Sales or related roles. Or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties. 

SPECIAL SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the telecommunications or broadband industry.
  • Strong understanding of commercial broadband solutions and technology.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
 
  • Able to work 8-hour shifts or longer if emergencies require. 
  • Must be able to work under any type of weather condition.
  • Must be skilled in the application of first aid methods.
  • Must be able to follow safe and efficient work practices.
  • Must possess visual acuity and manual dexterity as well as the ability to listen and communicate orally.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
 
  • Indoor & Outdoor working positions, requiring incumbents to travel from office to worksite via company vehicle. 
  • Requires constant indoor and outdoor work with the potential for extreme outdoor temperatures.
  • Potential to work outside normal working hours on occasion.
